The Furniture Gallery is comprised of work that I have been designing and building since my apprenticeships in the early and mid 1980's.
The style has an Eastern Shaker influence that is found in the subtle curves, free-edge planks, and refined details. The joinery is the time honored mortise and tenon which is used though out these pieces, along with a great deal of thought to allow for seasonal expansion. The materials are primarily Eastern Hardwoods, and many are locally grown to my eastern West Virginia region.
Most of the pieces shown are for sale by commission, or are available through a local gallery. In most cases the dimensions can be adjusted to fit a client's needs. I also offer individually custom designed pieces. Inquiries are most welcome.
